OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

All our Objects are Charitable and the Activities in furthering them are for public benefit:

Our Objects/Purpose

1. "To advance the Christian religion in London and other places; within England and Wales, and overseas, in accordance with the statements of belief appearing in the schedule and Christian doctrines, for the benefit of the public.

2. “To advance education in such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees from time to time may think fit.”

3. "The prevention or relief of poverty mainly in London and other places, nationally or overseas by providing: grants, items, and services to individuals and supporting other charities or organizations (local, national, and overseas) working to prevent or relieve poverty."

       ACTIVITIES FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT

The trustees of this Organisation have due regard to the principles of public benefit explained in the Charities and Public Benefit guidance of the Charity Commission.

Activities in support of Object 1

1. The provision of places of worship;

. Providing services of Christian worship & Fellowship;

. Religious teachings, Facilities, r services allow Believers to practice their faith or allow its doctrines.

2. Carrying out Christian devotional acts;

. Organizing services of Christian worship & Fellowship, prayer meetings,

. Christian teaching and preaching, public celebration of religious festivals. 

 3. Raising awareness and understanding of Christian beliefs and practices;

. Producing and/or distributing literature on Christian beliefs/doctrines to enlighten others about the Christian religion and how to find out more about them.

. Broadcasting of Christian Messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature.

4. Carrying out missionary, outreach work and acting as Umbrella Organization for establishing and supporting new Ministries and Churches.

Activities in support of Object 2 

1. Conduct training, seminars, workshops, conferences, and lectures/teachings.

The above is mainly on Christian Education and other disciplines, including Theology, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical  counseling, Biblical prophecy,

Evangelism, Prayer, and Intercession. They will be run by Ministers of Religion and other professionals who are certified trained, qualified, and experienced. The courses would be organized at different locations;  churches, conference/training centers, and through the internet (online), as and when needed, subject to trustees' decision. 

2. Run and support the running of schools for the purpose of education, especially Christian. This is a future aspiration of this Organization. Therefore, whenever and wherever the Trustees deem appropriate to run the school(s), it will be mainly for young people,  Adults - Christians, and Ministerial/Bible school(s), ensuring that suitably qualified tutors and staff will run and manage such while complying with the prevailing governmental/statutory regulations and requirements under whose jurisdiction it may be.

 3. Sponsoring the publication of Christian educational materials.

BENEFICIARIES

The beneficiaries will be anybody who wishes to participate and has the opportunity to take advantage of the program(s) on offer.

Beneficiaries will include Christians; new believers, other interested members of the local community, and the general public.

Activities in support of Object 3

(a)  The provision of money management, debt counseling, and advice.

(b)  The provision of small grants of money (subject to availability of funds)for the following:

(c)  The provision of items (either outright or on loan) such as furniture, bedding, clothing, food, fuel, heating appliances, and fridges.

(d)  Payment for services such as essential house insulation and repairs, child-minding, telephone line, rates laundering, and utilities;

(e)  The provision or contribution towards the provision of facilities such as the supply of tools or books, payments of fees for instruction, examination or other expenses connected with vocational training, language, literacy, or technical skills, traveling expenses to help the recipients earn their living, equipment, and funds for training intended to bring the quality of life of the beneficiaries to a reasonable standard.

(f)  Relieving poverty, which contributes to good mental and physical health; aiding the prevention of ill health, speeding recovery, and fostering composure in the face of ill health; through sponsoring or supporting research into factors that contribute to poverty and the most  appropriate ways to mitigate these."

PUBLIC BENEFIT

The trustees of this organization have due regard to the principles of public benefit explained in the Charities and Public Benefit guidance of the Charity  Commission.

The benefits are clear and straightforward.

Public Benefits from activities Object 1

The benefits are for the general public including; many followers or adherents and interested members of the local community.

. the most significant benefit is the meaning that the Christian religion gives to their lives and the way in which it contributes to their spiritual well-being. It helps to develop their spirituality (including strengthening their  relationship with God) 

. providing a moral and ethical framework for people to live by; which offers benefits to wider society, as well as individual comfort, solace, and sense of purpose.

. the availability of a place of worship for all who wish to attend. 

.the opportunity to attend and partake of public rituals and ceremonies; contributing to the spiritual and moral education of people; contributing towards a better society for example, by promoting social cohesion and social capital; carrying out as a practical expression of religious beliefs

. providing comfort to the bereaved.

Public Benefits from activities for Object 2

1.  Participants are equipped with the capacity to understand and operate successfully in society

2.  Brings about personal development; physical and emotional capabilities

3.  Adds value to both the individual and to the health and well-being of the society around them.

Public Benefits from Object 3

. Those at risk of poverty will be prevented from becoming poor, while, those in poverty will be relieved from poverty.

. People receive useful advice and are sign-posted to various training/career or other options available to them.

. Participants are motivated, supported, and empowered to get involved in, training for skills/vocation or education, and as a result, they get better jobs or move on to set up their businesses.

. They will have better living conditions.

.Bring improvements to the lives of people in genuine need.

. They will become more: Confident, regain their self-esteem, useful and responsible members of their communities and society ultimately benefits. There will be a reduction in school drop-outs and unemployment.

. There will be a reduction in the risks associated with, or consequence of, poverty and deprivation. Examples are social unrest, burglary, domestic violence, gang culture, prostitution, teenage pregnancies, drugs/substance abuse, disease, and many more...

 Reasonable Restrictions objects 1

 Place of worship will be locked when not in use and

.  Concerns about security and/or racial or religious abuse mean that the place of worship cannot be left unattended so that members of the public can simply enter the building when they wish for quiet contemplation.

 .  Adequate provision will be made to inform people when they can enter the premises –

a) Prominently displayed notice outside the property.

b) The organization's website and other publications will advertise the venue, event dates, and opening times.

 A Reasonable restriction on activities for Object 2

There will be highly subsidized fees charged, to cover costs only. There may be no fees for some sponsored or funded courses and programs. Those who cannot afford to pay fees may apply for a grant, depending on availability. Alternative free online studies will be easily available – links to be provided from the organization's website. This restriction is legitimate, proportionate, rational, and justifiable given the aim of the organization.

 * Detriment or Harm

The trustees are not aware of any detriment or harm that in our view might arise from carrying out our organization's aims.

 However, this organization has the following policies in place to balance benefits against any detriment or harm:
